PARABOLIC MIRROR 55.7″ PARABOLOID SOLAR POWER STEAM GENERATOR Concave Mirror Solar Collector

This is on of our new 55.7″ Paraboloids that produces almost 2K of solar power. They are beasts when it comes to solar heating. I hope to do videos with Steam and Stirling Engines to provide a working model that actually can be used to produce some power. These boil 12 oz of water in under a minute. Still testing and will have videos on that soon. Please Rate this video and subscribe to our channel.

how come these mirrors are so expensive?
I want once of those for camping out, catch myself a fish or somethin and roast that shit. some good tuna.
How much is a dish…and how big can you make them? One way to take advantage of solar power is to align all of the sunlight to a water tower where the water evaporates than liquefies and turns a turbine thus generating electricity.
i’ve watched a handful of videos from this guy. i have yet to see any video where is actually putting one of his projects to good use on a continuous basis.
i would very much like to see a video on, say, a water heater that has saved you money throughout the year. until then, this experiments will not be taken seriously
@davetileguy lol there wouldn’t be a terrorist left, it would be a crispy critter after that thing
OMFG!!!!! lol they should be mounted on suv’s and have a sound when you use them that do the IMA FIREN MY LAZAAA!!!! to scare the crap out of those freeloading bastards that think that they can come to our country and not pay the taxes we all pay!!!!! F U YA COMMIES!!!!!
LOL acornoa
a green way to control immigration.
Look at all these death beams!!!!!!!
bigger than my tv :O OMG!!!!!
where did he get these?
shoot illegal immigrants trying to come to america with focused sunlight. =)
and I thought a frensel lens was already very powerful…,
Perdon, no entiendo muy bien la utilidad de este instrumento. Me gustaria saber, la verdadra funcion de esto y si no causa daño por radiacion.
more powerfull than a fresnell lense?,….cool!
Now what I’d like to see is a roast or some steak cooked on one of these puppies…
How much to ship one of these to Australia? We get pretty wikked summers over here (hitting 40+ degrees centigrade most days throughout summer) and seeing one if these in action would be awesome… Going to the beach and cooking between 11-3 ….
u could torture terorists with it
You can make a glass ball covered with a mirrored base, a framework should be able to mirror the one hand to transmit light and the other not! (as in the rooms of identification of offenders) and then will not have to rotate the mirror for the sun! Yes, and heat in a mirrored flask will be kept in a thermos.
how do you that idea? :) I would try an experiment, but no money! :-)
If someone realizes I ask just tell me this is interesting.
This dish provides cca 1500 Watts
Where to put the pot?
U can cook water to make tea with it.
hmm , I wonder, could I cook with one of these? Or should it be a little bit small? :-)
Hi,
Do you know how much power solar light per square meter ? if I say how much watt with this 56 inc dish? I can calculate acordingly.
Thanks
You must have paid a great deal for all these mirrors. Where did you get them? And for how much?
WOW those are awesome and the intro was cool! other then making fire what other sources of power can they assist in creating?
It’s only the focal point of the mirror that is dangerous. The mirror concentrates the parallel lines of light into a cone shaped beam at a particular distance (like the two lines of an X). It’s the same principle of a satellite dish - the receiver of the satellite dish is where all the reflected beams are concentrated
@catfish4975 check our website:-)
Where do you get these things at? I’ve been looking around for a while and haven’t had much luck finding anything over 2 feet in diameter.
id feel sorry for the pigeon that has a flight path past that thing.
