PARABOLIC MIRROR 55.7″ PARABOLOID SOLAR POWER STEAM GENERATION Concave Mirror Solar Parabola 2

This is the second video with the 55.7″ Parabolic Dish. The water boiled in 90 Seconds from 50F. The container is a Venom Energy Drink made out of thicker gauge Aluminum. I added some black paint to the back but kept the from because it is a cool design. The drink was too sweet for me:-) This dish was slightly damaged so I softened the dents and corrected the surface. This dish is operating at full strength even with the slight damage. It was like that when I got it. I decided to test this one incase something happened that way I did not damage a near perfect dish. This one also has a center hole for mounting.

SHould have focused the mirror on the blimp and blown it up lol

Hey Dan - In reference to the Goodyear Blimp going by, I see a possible product of some sort of noise cancelling circuit for microphones like those for headphones.

you got good idees men, but you gatta make your devices more “complete” like some practical finished product….i dont see myself standing there to get water boilling….could say the same with your Tesla turbine….send me links if im wrong…

you should like make an infomercial and grill roticery chicken :).

write george foreman for a solar powered foreman grill :D all natural.

That is insanely expensive. I like the idea but I will stick with my charcoal grill.

How did make this? Can one make this at home?

@AutoteckO8 I agree an arc welding helmet would be better, you can still see fine through them if you are in direct sunlight

@archileach They actually have some on their website, I think they make them theirselves but I’m not sure. The cost varies alot depending on the size, ranging from around $100 to $300. These aren’t cheap =(

Do you know if these guys made their dish or if they purchased it? If they purchased it, I would appreciate knowing where they got it and how much.

Thanks.

hey dan thats the government trying to spy on you,in that blimp, yea i get the helicopters circling my house, they tryed the blimp but it was a windy day in florida, nice video

my macbook can totally do that in a fraction of that time!!

You should have shot the blimp down with your solar death ray (just kidding ;)

maybe buy better microphone mr. & mrs. rojas…

very funny… but not good to fry ants with sunlight… poor little creatures–i fried a few in my childhood, and am worried about karmic imbalance until today

Now all we need are giant ants.

lets get a bigger paraboloid & shoot down that balloon next time it passes by

when you were frustrated with the blimp you walked past it and waved your hand dangerously close to the focal point.

how is the mirror made?

Goodyear blimp ftw!

Dan…wear uv shades or welders eye protection. We can’t afford to lose you if you go blind. There’s something I want to ask and that is…Do you work in R&D on the base? I think so because only R&D folks have knowledge base to construct and implement devices like yours.

hot coffee :D yumm….~

Im using my 2nd acount to delete the negative points hehe ;)

too fast are you ok

oh no! what an inconvenience… lol :)

Not ignorant sir. We know about these things but we just don’t care about hot water and these things are hard to find.

People are ignorant, I think
